The Ataturk International Airport is the major international airport in Istanbul, Turkey. It is named after Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the first president and founder of Turkey. In 2008, the Istanbul Airport handled over 28 million passengers. It ranks as Europe's 10th busiest airport.
