Bucharest Airport (OTP)

Airport Overview:

The Bucharest Airport is Romania's main international airport serving approximately 5 million passengers annually. Its original name was Bucharest Otopeni International Airport up until 2004 when it changed to Henri Conanda International Airport. Local residents still refer to it by its former name.

Transportation:

1-800-Fly-Europe offers discount car rentals at the Bucharest Airport as well as from downtown Bucharest Locations.

Discounted rates on chauffeur and Bucharest airport transfer service are also available with 1-800-Fly-Europe.

Taxis are available outside the Arrival area of both terminals.

The 783 Express Line bus service goes from the airport to the city center. It is not a non stop service.

The Hotel Confort Otopeni is an airport property, less than 2 minutes to the airport by complimentary shuttle service.

Money: The Romanian Bank for Development is located at the airport. ATMs and bureau de change are in the International Arrivals and Departures Halls.

Other Services: A first aid station, hairdresser and pharmacy are provided by the airport.
