The oldest airport in Germany, Hamburg Fuhlsbuttel was built in 1911. The Hamburg Airport is the 5th busiest German airport, serving over 12 million passengers in 2008.

Other Services: A post office is located in Terminal 4. Wireless Internet service is available in all areas of the airport. First Aid provided by the Red Cross is situated on the first floor of Terminal 2.

Religion: The airport has a chapel in Terminal 3.
