Airport Overview:

Opened in 1936, the Frankfurt International Airport is now Germany's busiest airport. Frankfurt Airport is a hub for Germany's national carrier, Lufthansa. The Frankfurt Airport offers guided tours for visitors and hosts numerous special events throughout the year.

The Sheraton and Towers Hotel is located at the airport, separated from the terminal by a short walkway.

Information Desks:

Airport information desks are situated in the Arrivals and Departures Halls of both terminals. These desks are staffed 24 hours a day.

Eating and Drinking: The airport has a wide variety of bars, cafes and restaurants. Many of these places are open 24 hours.

Shopping: The Frankfurt Airport has over 130 stores, including toy stores, jewelry stores, electronics, gift and duty free shops.

More services: The airport has children's play areas, baby changing facilities, a post office, pharmacies and a 24 hour medical clinic. The Frankfurt Airport also has a casino located at Terminal 1.
