Events in Northern Ireland

The One World Festival is a yearly event celebrating international diversity. There will be bands and musicians of every genre from all over the world, international arts and crafts fairs and food from every place imaginable! Come join in the festivities and meet people from all walks of life.

This annual city carnival is held throughout the streets of Belfast in celebration of the start of the new Lord Mayor’s term in office. There is a big parade held through the city as well as a party. The week prior to the carnival there are workshops and other educational events in preparation for the carnival. Another highlight of the carnival is the Puppet Picnic where visitors can attend those workshops and create their own puppets to bring along to the picnic. The carnival is sure to be fun for the whole family!
