Events in Northern Ireland

The One World Festival is a yearly event celebrating international diversity. There will be bands and musicians of every genre from all over the world, international arts and crafts fairs and food from every place imaginable! Come join in the festivities and meet people from all walks of life.

Ireland’s largest arts festival is Belfast Festival at Queen’s, which features over 250 different events from a wide array of international stars, innovative productions and creative artworks all over the city. Performances include theater, dance, visual art, music, film and spoken word, as well as a number of special projects. You will be sure to find something for every different type of art lover.

Since 1987 the annual Foyle Film Festival has descended upon the city of Derry. During this time the theater's offer ten days of premieres, film making workshops and masterclasses. The Light in Motion award is given to winners in the categories of Best Feature, Best Irish Short, Best International Short, Best Documentary, and Best Animation.

The Royal Ulster Winter Fair takes place at The King’s Hall in Belfast. It is an indoor showcase of Ireland’s best dairy cattle. Along with competitions for the best breed, you will find more then 120 different companies exhibiting services and machinery pertaining to the dairy industry.
