Events in Germany

Frankfurt's Messeturm is Europe's second tallest skyscraper. Each year on the 29th of May a lighthearted race called Skyrun is held to raise money for charity. Professional athletes and teams representing local fire brigades scale the 1344 steps to the top. During the event DJs and radio hosts entertain the spectators.

On the 2nd of July locals and tourists alike gather on the banks of the Rhine River for The Night of Magical Fire. When the sun sets over 50 illuminated ships depart the towns of Rudesheim, Bingen and Assmannshausen. At around 10pm the first firework display begins in Trechtingshausen, and the display comes to an end in Bingen at 11pm.
