Zagreb Film Festival
Student Centre, Zagreb
October 1 - October 15, 2010

Each year the Student Centre in Zagreb is transformed into the Zagreb Film Festival. Entries from around the world range from films that are the first or second in a directors career, features, shorts and documentaries. The feature winner is awarded with the Golden Pram and a cash price of 5000 euros, while the best short and documentary take home 1500 euros each. The audience also picks a winner who is given 1000 euros.

International Music Festival
Pula, Croatia
November, 2010

Pula is home to the Croatia International Music Festival which provides a forum for all forms of contemporary Croatian music. There are many concerts by soloists, ensembles and guess musicians along with meetings and professional seminars on publishing and copyright issues, and a collection of lectures entitled "Meetings of the Mediterranean Composers of New Generation", which takes place each year.

St. Nicola's Festival & Public Holiday
Dubrovnik, Croatia

This day is spent remembering the biggest destruction of Dubrovnik during the Serbs and Montenegro’s aggression in the Croatian Homeland War which took place on this day in 1991. This day was also followed with the remarkable defense of strategically important Dubrovnik’s defense spot Srdz and Sustipan, that finally over the course of the course of the war. The city od Dubrovnik spends this day paying homage to the deaths and wounded and their families, specially all those who defended the city. There is a memorial room placed on the ground floor of the Sponza Palace.
